MEET OUR TEAM

Daniella A. Angarita, J.D.
Owner & Managing Attorney
Attorney Angarita was born and raised in Texas. Before founding The Angarita Law Firm, PLLC., Attorney Angarita helped run, manage, and grow her family’s remodeling and construction company in the north DFW area. Attorney Angarita earned her Jurisprudence Doctorate Degree in May of 2019 from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in International Political Economy with a minor in Political Science in May of 2014.
Prior to Law School Attorney Angarita worked for a solo criminal defense attorney in McKinney, TX, for three years where she learned becoming an attorney was her calling. She saw the need for Spanish-speaking attorneys in the legal industry after seeing the mass under-representation of Spanish-speaking individuals in our community.
This prompted her to begin law school in August 2016, throughout which she continued to work in her family’s business, held a judicial internship in the 162nd Civil District Court under the Honorable Maricela Moore in Dallas County, interned directly for the Misdemeanor Chief at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, and interned for the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office.
Attorney Angarita participated in, was an active member, and held positions in various school organizations throughout law school. These include: Publishing Staff Member of the UNT Dallas Law Review; Elected Student Liaison in the Hispanic Law Student Association; UNT Honor Council Member; and a Student Bar Association Voting Budget Committee Member.
Attorney Angarita has volunteered regularly with Dallas Catholic Charities providing help with immigration paperwork, participated in various Citizenship workshops and power of attorney workshops with UNT Dallas College of Law. She continues to actively and regularly provide Pro Bono and Low Bono legal aid to individuals that cannot otherwise access legal aid. In 2021-2022 to date she has provided over 200 hours of pro bono work for various clients.
She participates yearly in the Dallas County Expunction clinic providing free expunctions for over 10 participants per year.
Since 2021 to date she has provided over 600 hours of pro bono work for under-represented individuals.
